Scottsdale Police reported a tree down at 1st Ave and Brown in the downtown area that was handled quickly at about 5:30 PM MST.
Downed tree misses house!

Measured 7 3/4 inch diameter tree trunk.
Downed tree in the 6800 block of East Portland Street in Scottsdale, AZ. The tree fell away from the house. The homeowner was home at the time of the incident. Hat tip to the owner of the house for allowing me on his property to measure the tree trunk!
